Elizabeth Bathory

A distant family member of the real Count Dracula, Elizabeth Bathory was a member of the royal family who enjoyed bathing in blood. She was royalty in Hungary during the late 1500s. Her "blood-baths" were designed to fight the aging process. The blood of approximatly 600 little girls was spilled under Bathory's orders. Many people got wind of her sick practices and began to speculate. Finally in 1916, officials stormed her home, Castle Csjethe, and witnessed one of her treatments being taking place. All of her assistants were burned and she was sentenced to life behind the walls of her own castle. Nobility was not punished as harshly as other members of society. Bathory died on August 16, 1914 in the comfort of her own home.

the dates are all wrong, she was a Countess in the 16th century, not the 1900's.
